Self-Carrying Wire isolated (SIC) is intended for electric power transfer to air-lines of an electricity transmission and branches to inputs in apartment houses and utility constructions, meant for an alternating voltage 0,66/1 kV by nominal frequency 50 Hz. Self-Carrying Wires are durable and capable to trouble-free work even in aggressive climatic and chemical conditions, assume possibility of installation without switching-off of a line, high durability to mechanical damages that is their essential technical advantages. Wire components A wire SCW designed from four parts. The current-carrying core is executed from aluminum, has the round form, in section – 16-150 in sq. mm. The carrying zero cores is formed from braided round wires (multi wire), condensed, not isolated, the round form. A material for its manufacturing – an aluminum alloy. Isolation of a carrying core in wires SIC is executed from thermoplastic light stabilized XLPE. Current-carrying isolated cores stranding twirled round the zero carrying core.
